Believing Is Not Enough

In the middle of my crisis I found myself constantly praying for my breakthrough and asking others to do the same. I would get frustrated fast and easily distracted while constantly questioning if God would hurry up and change my circumstances. My days would be constantly up and down and I would consistently try to find ways to justify (just a lie) that I was doing what was necessary. As I was driving to an appointment this hit me like a ton of bricks, "so faith without works is dead also" James 2:26 (King James Version). Faith is the substance of things hoped for but evidence unseen. When we go through crisis we constantly are looking for a way out while learning the lessons that life is teaching, but what we fail to realize is that although we are looking for a way out some work is required.
