Earned vs. Passive Income     Why do people break their necks everyday to go to a job to make a paycheck that only comes when they are able to work the job? Why is it that people build lives and lifestyles on this temporary income that we call jobs or careers today? Why is it that people depend on this income so much? This income that I am speaking of is earned income. It is your ability to work day in and day out to produce an income. This income is produced by working for someone or working for yourself. This is the most commonly sought after income because we are taught by our elders that you must go to work in order to have the necessities. Now don't get me wrong working is essential but when are we going to begin to work smart and not hard. People the curse is broken! Spending a lifetime working your fingers to the bone and never having enough for retirement or even being given the pink slip after years of service due to downsizing is not fun nor is it mandatory.  

Taking out your EMOTIONS!

As I have spent many years in the financial arena and assisting people with coming out of their hardships the one common factor whether male or female is they always say "I feel". We are too often time dictating and responding to our money and futures from a feeling. Feelings change by the minute. When making decisions based on what we feel for that moment disasters are then created. When addressing a payment, when addressing whether you need that new car, that new cell phone, that new house, and etc assess why is it needed or is it just a desire. Emotional spending and keeping up with the Jones' (whoever they are) keeps people in financial bondage and hardships. We can't blame the government or the banking industry for our own ignorance. Knowledge is power therefore get some power over your circumstance. Recognize when you are walking in an emotional place and stay out of the stores, don't even balance your checkbook, or cook a meal while you are there. Find some
